What To Expect

Join us for a transformative weekend full of adventure, fellowship, and growth! We will share 5 meals together, starting with dinner Friday night, and concluding with breakfast on Sunday. We can accommodate most dietary restrictions and try our best to offer quality substitutes. We offer two lodging options: Mountain View Cabins or Cedar Lodge rooms.

We will engage in four worship sessions together, learning from our speaker and one another in reflection times. You can choose between many activities during Saturday free time, whether it’s zipling, hatchet throwing, or our annual Irish Road Bowling competition!

This weekend will provide opportunity for quality time with other men, as well as solo reflection time. Our hope is that you can choose what is most replenishing to you!

Retreat Speaker

Ian Hodge

Ian grew up in the Seattle area, which explains his otherwise puzzling love of all things Seattle sports. He graduated from Biola University, where he met his future wife Mikaela, with whom he has 4 children, including the only daughter in three generations of Hodges. After several years as a banker in Downtown Seattle, Ian and Mikaela responded to God’s call to the pastorate by enrolling at Talbot School of Theology where Ian obtained his M.Div. Ian served as the pastor of Lemon Cove Community Church in central California for 10 years before receiving the call to serve as the pastor of FPC Carson City. Ian’s favorite book is The Great Divorce by C.S. Lewis, his hobbies include cooking, hiking, and, when he is well rested, backyard astronomy. After the Holy Spirit, the animating principle of Ian’s faith and ministry is Colossians 2:13-15; Jesus Christ, the one and only Son of God, has defeated sin and death in an absolute shellacking to make us alive!
