High School Camp

Deepen your faith among friends and mentors.

Camp Overview

July 14-19, 2024

Get Excited!

9th-12 graders are invited to come to spend a week going deeper in faith–whether gaining a better understanding of love, encountering Jesus Christ for the first time, or choosing to follow Jesus in their everyday life. Growth happens through small-group interaction, challenging physical activities, and nightly Campfire where they worship and engage with biblical truth.

Registration opens January 1st!

Highlights of High School Camp

Fun Theme Nights

Every night campers dress up according to the theme and play outrageous group games!

Small Group Discussion

Campers have the opportunity to learn more about Jesus and process this learning with their cabin.

Campers have their choice of activity during free time, including pool, aerial adventure, zipline, climbing, boats, and so much more!

What To Expect

High School Camp is available for 9th through 12th graders.

Campers arrive Sunday afternoon and leave Friday afternoon.

We provide 15 quality meals, including a salad bar and drink options at every meal. We can accommodate most dietary restrictions and try our best to offer quality substitutes.

Campers stay in gender specific cabins with two cabin leaders 18+ years old per cabin.

Campers have morning learning time, as well as Campfire and small groups every evening.

Camper can pick from a range of activities in the afternoon, including aerial adventure, zipline, swimming, boats, flume, archery, and visiting the Store or Snack Shack. Campers may deposit cash to create a store account at check in. Please note that we cannot keep credit cards on file for store accounts.

We have an on site nurse, as well as 12 hour/day services in Oakhurst. Please note that the camper’s family insurance plan is the primary source of coverage while attending Calvin Crest.

Registration and final payments will be due two weeks prior to the camp start date. A $125 non-refundable deposit is required with registration per camper. All non-refundable deposits are applied toward the total tuition due. Refunds are not guaranteed for cancellations made within two weeks of the camp start date. Campership applications are available below.

High School Speaker

Cory Pina

Cory is an alum of both Azusa Pacific University and Fuller Theological Seminary (where he's currently on staff). Cory met his wife, Lyndsay, at Calvin Crest at the turn of the century. They have two children, Naomi and Samuel, and a few four-legged creatures as well. Cory is a web developer, hospital chaplain, Elder of First Presbyterian Church of Monterey, and thrilled to be at High School Camp this year.

2024 Pricing Tiers

Realizing that families have different abilities to pay, Calvin Crest offers a Three Tier Pricing Program. Individuals who donate to Calvin Crest’s Campership fund make this program possible.

All card transactions will have an added fee of 2.5%. We strongly encourage selecting the ACH payment option when making any payments, which does not add any additional costs to customers.

Tier I - $700

This tier most accurately accounts for the true costs of running summer camp sustainably.

Tier II - $615

This is our partially subsidized fee for those who can pay an amount closer to the true cost of camp.

Tier III - $530

This is our historically subsidized rate and only covers a portion of our costs.

More About Tiered Pricing

You may choose the tier that is most suitable for your family. This is an honor system; you tell us what is affordable for your family. All campers receive the same exact Calvin Crest experience no matter what they choose. For those families that cannot afford Tier 3, additional financial assistance is available through camperships to ensure that all campers have the wonderful opportunity to attend camp. If you feel the financial burden of sending multiple campers to camp or signing up for multiple sessions, you're welcome to use the tiered system to subsidize your overall costs.

Camp Scholarships

Thanks to generous donations from Calvin Crest donors, we are able to offer partial scholarships, or “Camperships,” to those who would otherwise not be able to attend camp. 100% Camperships are not available, but we do encourage you to partner with your local church if you require additional assistance.

Please note, if a camper is attending multiple camp sessions, a Campership can be applied to only one camp session. In 2022, we awarded 91 Camperships totaling $22,661! Don't miss out. Fill out the scholarship application online today!
