Highlights of AIM

AIMers get to create many memories togethers, including a Saturday adventure day, activities with summer staff, and other evening games!

Tight Knit Community

AIMers get to serve, learn, worship, play, and live life together as a small group for almost two weeks, often leading to a family-like environment.

Intentional Discipleship

Discipleship is at the heart of the AIM program- AIMers get to meet one on one with AIM leadership and prayer partners.

What to Expect

AIM is for students entering 10th grade through college freshman who are committed followers of Jesus Christ and are ready to express their faith through service.

Please note, this program is almost two weeks long. Campers arrive Sunday afternoon and leave Friday afternoon of the following week.

We provide 36 quality meals, including a full salad bar and drink options at every meal. We can accommodate most dietary restrictions and try our best to offer quality substitutes.

AIMers stay in gender specific cabins with two cabin leaders 18+ years old per cabin.

AIM is an intentional discipleship program which offers evening worship, teaching, and discussion in a small group setting. AIMers also have opportunities to meet with AIM leadership for mentoring, or share meals with a prayer partner.

Each summer AIM completes a large service project, as well as smaller projects to serve camp operations.

AIMers help run free time activities for other campers and have their own space to enjoy activities and go on adventures. They will have access to the Store and Snack Shack, and they may deposit cash to create a store account at check in. Please note that we cannot keep credit cards on file for store accounts.

We have an on site nurse, as well as 12 hour/day services in Oakhurst. Please note that the camper’s family insurance plan is the primary source of coverage while attending Calvin Crest.

Registration and final payments will be due two weeks prior to the camp start date. A $75 non-refundable deposit is required with registration per camper. All non-refundable deposits are applied toward the total tuition due. Refunds are not guaranteed for cancellations made within two weeks of the camp start date. Campership applications are available below.

AIM Forms

Attending AIM requires a multi-step application process. The first step in the process is to register online, which includes an application for the potential AIMer to complete. Upon submission, potential AIMers must complete an interview, as well as obtain a personal reference and an adult sponsor. Sponsors are adults who commit to continue the discipleship process after AIM is completed throughout the school year. A sponsor can be your pastor, youth director, an elder from your church, or a close mentor who will agree to encourage and challenge spiritual growth. If you have any questions about the application process, please email us at

Maddie Sloas

Maddie Sloas had the blessing of growing up in the Oakhurst area and attending Calvin Crest as a child and teenager. Her parents' heart for working at Calvin Crest was passed to her, having been on summer staff since 2018. Ministry at Calvin Crest has played a large role in Maddie coming to faith. She is a Cal Poly Graduate and stayed in SLO since graduation, working for Cru (a College Ministry), where her faith has grown immensely. What Maddie loves most about Calvin Crest is the community, being in God’s creation, connecting with campers, and singing at campfire!

2024 Pricing Tiers

Realizing that families have different abilities to pay, Calvin Crest offers a Three-Tier Pricing Program. Individuals who donate to Calvin Crest’s Campership fund make this program possible.

All card transactions will have an added fee of 2.5%. We strongly encourage selecting the ACH payment option when making any payments, which does not add any additional costs to customers.

Tier I - $700

This tier most accurately accounts for the true costs of running summer camp sustainably.

Tier II - $615

This is our partially subsidized fee for those who can pay an amount closer to the true cost of camp.

Tier III - $530

This is our historically subsidized rate and only covers a portion of our costs.

More About Tiered Pricing

You may choose the tier that is most suitable for your family. This is an honor system; you tell us what is affordable for your family. All campers receive the same exact Calvin Crest experience no matter what they choose. For those families that cannot afford Tier 3, additional financial assistance is available through camperships to ensure that all campers have the wonderful opportunity to attend camp. If you feel the financial burden of sending multiple campers to camp or signing up for multiple sessions, you're welcome to use the tiered system to subsidize your overall costs.

Camp Scholarships

Thanks to generous donations from Calvin Crest donors, we are able to offer partial scholarships, or “Camperships,” to those who would otherwise not be able to attend camp. 100% Camperships are not available, but we do encourage you to partner with your local church if you require additional assistance.

Please note, if a camper is attending multiple camp sessions, a Campership can be applied to only one camp session. In 2022, we awarded 91 Camperships totaling $22,661! Don't miss out. Fill out the scholarship application online today!
