Highlights of Family Camp

Family Memories

Create new memories together, whether it's adventuring together or discussing spiritual practices as a family.

Adult Breathing Space

We offer three morning sessions for adults to learn and worship together, while kids enjoy their own programming.

Nonstop Silliness

Every evening we have a theme to dress up and be silly as a family, accompanied by fun evening activites.

What to Expect

All ages and families are welcome! You are also invited to participate in Family Camp as an individual.

Campers arrive Sunday afternoon and leave Friday afternoon.

We provide 15 family friendly meals, including a full salad bar and drink options at every meal. We can accommodate most dietary restrictions and try our best to offer quality substitutes.

Options for lodging include Cedar Lodge, Mountain View cabins, and Westview cabins at varied price levels.

We offer three morning Adult Breathing Spaces and kids programming during this time. Every evening we gather for family Campfire, as well as other optional fun activities.

Free time activities are available every afternoon, including the Store and Snack Shack. Families may create family or individual store credit accounts, or pay cash/card.

Announcing Family Camp 2025 Theme Nights!

On theme nights, come to dinner all decked out in costume (or just as you are)! Some families create their own costumes as crafty projects, others put something together at a thrift store or from what they have at home. Feel free to use one of our suggestions or get creative and make a costume that is a surprising spin-off from the theme title or description. The staff will also dress up, and we’ll have an all-family activity designed to fit the theme of the night!

Calvin Crest has a health services team that includes an onsite nurse, first aider, and mental health professional. Our health services team works together to care for physical, mental, emotional, and social health care needs.

If needed, there are urgent care services available in Oakhurst or hospitals in Fresno. Please note that the camper’s family insurance plan is the primary source of coverage while attending Calvin Crest.

Registration and final payments will be due two weeks prior to the camp start date. A $75 non-refundable deposit is required with registration per camper. All non-refundable deposits are applied toward the total tuition due. Refunds are not guaranteed for cancellations made within two weeks of the camp start date. Campership applications are available below.

2026 Family Camp Rates

The cost of Family Camp is the program fees for each person in the family attending, plus one lodging fee for the whole family unit. For example: Family A is bringing 2 adults and 2 children ages 12 and 10. They choose to stay in a Mountain View Cabin. Their cost will be $575 (Mtn View) + $375 (Adult A) + $375 (Adult B) + $275 (12 year old) + $275 (10 year old) = $1875.

We strongly encourage selecting the ACH payment option when making any payments to help Calvin Crest avoid any additional fees.

Camp Scholarships

Thanks to generous donations from Calvin Crest donors, we are able to offer partial scholarships, or “Camperships,” to those who would otherwise not be able to attend camp. 100% Camperships are not available, but we do encourage you to partner with your local church if you require additional assistance.

Please note, if a camper is attending multiple camp sessions, a Campership can be applied to only one camp session. In 2024, we awarded 94 Camperships totaling $31,000! Don't miss out. Fill out the scholarship application online today!
