| Here's what they're doing this Memorial Day weekend at Calvin Crest: 1)Sherwood Cabin - Purpledale, Featherwood cabin enclose the ends and install doors 2) Westview Bathroom - remodel to provide 7 individual showers 3) Eastview Bathroom - shingle roof, finish walls so that we have the remodeled bathroom with 6 showers ready for summer 4) Rototilling - volleyball court, possibly some other areas 5) Craft Condo - organize, label, clean, prep for summer camp, polyurethane tables 6) Repair Pool Slide 7) Landscaping - weed flower/plant beds, mow, trim, clean up branches on the ground 8) Apple Orchard - trim back blackberry vines, trim deadwood from trees, clear areas under trees, turn the mulch under trees 9) Mountainview - paint cabin exteriors 10) Sunscreens - installed over Dining Hall patios 11) Pine Needles - rake, pile to clean up grounds 12) Split Wood - we had some dead trees taken down and we have lots of wood to split and kindling to stack 13) Sherwood Tower - paint exterior walls, dig post holes, prepare for the new castle tower we are building at Sherwood 14) Gutters and roofs - clean out pine needles 15) Dining Hall Deck - power wash, clean and stain 16) Bear, Robin Hood and Totem carvings - clean and protect with linseed oil 17) Trim tree branches around cabins, boat dock 18) Remove 'junk' from the grounds 19) Polyurethane benches in amphitheater 20) Put equipment and supplies away in preparation for summer camp |
