Mission Statement 2017-01-25T14:14:37+00:00

Our mission is to make disciples of Jesus Christ, practice biblical hospitality, invite people to experience and know God’s creation and partner with peacemakers to bring health and wholeness.

We work alongside pastors and youth leaders to train up young and old to faithfully walk in the way, the truth, and the life of Jesus Christ, equipping them with wisdom and knowledge to understand and apply His teaching, as found in the Bible and through the revelation of the Holy Spirit, so they may do the work of the kingdom of heaven in their communities and in the world.

We offer retreat facilities and services to guest groups as an extension of our spiritual practice of biblical hospitality.
We partner with schools to teach students history, geology, science, and the wonder of the great outdoors.
We partner with organizations to:

  • Bring youth and adults out of neighborhoods of hopelessness and despair to gain life skills and experience God’s creation.
  • Train people to build and operate systems to deliver clean water to remote communities who are in desperate need.

Anchored in Scripture

Make disciples of Jesus Christ

Therefore go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit.

Practice Biblical Hospitality

Supply the needs of the saints. Extend hospitality to strangers.
Do not forget to show hospitality to strangers, for by so doing some people have shown hospitality to angels without knowing it.
If your enemy is hungry, feed him; if he is thirsty, give him something to drink.
Offer hospitality to one another without grumbling.

Experience God’s Creation

Since the creation of the world God’s invisible qualities—his eternal power and divine nature—have been clearly seen.
The heavens declare the glory of God; the skies proclaim the work of his hands. Day after day they pour forth speech; night after night they display knowledge. There is no speech or language where their voice is not heard. Their voice goes out into all the earth, their words to the ends of the world.
Ask the animals, and they will teach you, or the birds of the air, and they will tell you; or speak to the earth, and it will teach you, or let the fish of the sea inform you. Which of these does not know that the hand of the Lord has done this? In his hand is the life of every creature and the breath of all mankind.

Partner with Peacemakers

Blessed are the peacemakers, for they will be called children of God.
He has shown you, O mortal, what is good. And what does the LORD require of you? To act justly and to love mercy and to walk humbly with your God.
